Jet Mini VS plusates

The variable speed control on my Jet mini lathe does not maintain a constant speed. It has just started having this problem----it's about 5 years old. Any else experience this? Any suggestions?

I see the typo in the title. it should be "pulsates"

Sounds to like maybe there is additional demand on that particular power line. Check and maybe even exchange the fuse or breaker that services that particular outlet as it may be ready to burn out. Maybe that will settle thingsd down for your lathe.

If not, then maye a call to JET technical support is in order. They have always been a great help to others that have had a need to call them in the past.

Good luck with this as I know something like this can definitely be a pain to troubleshoot.
