Ladies and Gentlemen,Today is my birthday. I'm 16, yes sixteen years old today. I'm getting to be old. My hands already are starting to shake. I kind of hinted to dad about getting me a Jet Variable Speed Mini Lathe. But I don't think I'll get one. Maybe I'll just get a $10 bill or something. Most likely. Money will be pouring in today from you guys![}:)][}:)]

No,not yet. I have to drive with our driving instructor 4:30am today and at 12:30pm on Saturday. Here in Wisconsin you have to have 10hrs. night and 20hrs. day in driving with a member of your family before you can get your license. I have only 4hrs. night and 10hrs. day so it will be a few months. My older brother didn't get all his hours in until he was 18. Thanks!

Happy birthday my nephew turns 12 today you little april fools babies,LOL. Fingers crossed on the lathe for you. 16 is a big birthday, you already like wood working so your on the right path in life. Congrats, Victor
 
Jared, You gotta get all you can out of this one. My baby girl has her sweet 16 coming up in July. She is already working every angle she can find. She's going to get a huge party but no car :( Nice thing about her turning 16 is that she is starting to talk to me again. From about 14 to 16 little girls avoid there dads as much as possible. we are "dorks".

Yea, I'm thinking April Fools also. On the other hand, evidently Jared is unaware of the long-standing, time-honored, "16th Birthday IAP Tradition". You know which tradition I'm talking about! It's the one where whomever turns 16 sends blanks to all of the other members. Let's pm our addresses to the Birthday Boy!
 
I guess I could send each of you a box full of sawdust from my late or previous blanks.[}:)] Actually dad was talking about getting me some bowl turning tools. Cheap but Good he said. Oh well,I guess I'll have to buy that lathe myself. I also got a friend here who's birthday is today. He's turning 15.
