Hi All,

It looks like cactus, but it is Loofah.

Tube spray painted with black Krylon acrylic. CA glued loofah on tube. Using a SWEB Resin Saver mold to cast.

Will install it to a Elegant Beauty tomorrow.

The first mention of loofah (and where I got the idea to try it) was from Eagle in August of 2006 (post #4). On the same thread (post #5) redfishsc mentioned spanish moss, which led me to an idea of trying reindeer moss.

I never had any luck with spanish moss but loofah and reindeer moss did make some interesting and profitable pens for me.
 
I've got a lot of Loofa blanks cast. They are really nice. I'm also working on something else that has the cactus look. I'll post a pic when I get it perfected.
