Hello all,

My girlfriend and I just spent the past 3 days at both Cedar Point and Kings Island in Ohio to celebrate our 2 year anniversary today. It was my first time at either park, and it was absolutely incredible. But I digress...

While at Kings Island, we got to ride "The Beast", their world record holding wooden coaster. A ride that my gf and her family hold dearly in their hearts, as it was her late grandfather's favorite ride. While at the park, we saw a Jr Gent style pen made from a part of the ride itself in a gift shop. I've been after a piece of this ride for a long time now to turn as gifts for the family, but haven't been able to source a blank. I've checked with both Mike Hardin(Crashmph) of Stadium Pen Blanks, and Michelle from Drop Anchor Creations, but neither of them have had any in a very long time, if ever.

Does anyone either have a blank they'd be willing to sell, or know where I could find one?

Thanks in advance!

I wonder if Michael Harden might be able to find some. I have a piece from the Mean Streak at Cedar Point that I bought from him at stadium pen blanks. They tore that one down a long time ago now, but it was my favorite wooden coaster. It was definitely mean. My neck can't handle rides like that now. I grew up in Sandusky, so anything Cedar Point has a special meaning to me. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to shoot him an email. Contact info is at the bottom of his site.

Otherwise, I'd agree with Gregory. Nobody working out in the park is really going to be that interested in helping with something like this, but some corporate exec might be able to assist, and would probably love to have a pen made with materials from the park.

Like I said, I've talked with Mike a couple times about it. But it has been a while, so I'll reach out to him again.

I have a piece of Mean Streak as well! Another of the family's favorite ridesšŸ˜ŠThey actually had one of the original cars from it out when we were there this weekend!
