Is There Such A Kit?

Is there a pen kit that retracts the whole nib back into the body of the pen? I was turning some Softball Bat key chains and one turned out a little big. I liked the way it fit in my hand and was thinking of making a bat pen. I don't like the look of the bat pen you get at the stadium with the nib hanging out of the end of the bat. I posted a picture for reference.

Any thoughts on the idea?

Here is another picture of the bat with the pen next to it. When I posted the above picture I just put the pen behind the bat so you could see what I was talking about. One of those slight of hand tricks, did I get ya?

Already playing with a few ideas but no promises . Most transmissions don't have enough travel to extend a full size nib . I'll let you know if I come up with a good idea . I love a challenge :biggrin:

Namiki makes a retractable fountain pen that writes exquisitely. It is an interesting pen and the way that it is made is very interesting.
