Over the past few days I went on a Pen Kit spending spree. During this spree I went on the Rizheng web site and looked at prices and add some kits to my cart to see what the shipping was. I thought I had canceled my order as the shipping was to much. Went on about doing research on the company and other vendors on Ebay and making my purchases and paying through PayPal.

Sunday night I received an Email from Rizheng with an invoice and instructions on how to pay them using Pay Pal. They asked me to use a different provision to make my payment so they could avoid paying the 3%+.035 fees that PayPal charges. The Personal provision is not intended for Commercial use and could cause the rest of us problems if PayPal takes it away.

I replied to the Email to cancel my order. Later in the day on Monday I contacted PayPal and reported the situation to them. I have not heard back from them yet but have save the Email for evidence.

I do not like a foreign Company trying to defraud an American company especially a Communist Country. I don't pretend to be a "Goody Two Shoes" but I lost 2 uncles in the Korean way and friends in Vietnam. I don't by Nike shoes because of were they are made. I know we live in a Global Economy and we buy many product from Foreign countries including the Communist countries but this was a blatant attempt to defraud and American company. I know we all have issues with PayPal/Ebay but they are an American company and do provide a service to us who use the internet.

Heaven only knows where the kits I bought on Ebay were manufactured, but I have a pretty good Idea. I have attached a copy of the Invoice and PayPal instructions.

Tom, I understand completely. I am a Vietnam era vet and lost some friends there. I did order from them before but never again as the shipping is outrageous!

A little petty aren't we guys?

Not really. He's pointing out that fact that Rizheng is asking it's customers to send PayPal payments as a "personal" payment so they can get around having to pay the appropriate fees, fees that a business is supposed to pay.
It's like me saying my vehicle is for business use so I can get a tax break when in reality it's not... or something along those lines.

Tom, You are not the first to come away from Rizheng with a bad taste in your mouth. THey have been banned from this group, Twice due to less than ethical behavior. I have been involved with them from a few years ago and they have consistently been in that just below par in pretty much every way. Including quality of their products.
I stuck my neck out for them at one point because they had made a huge blunder on this group. I would not do it again.

Jeff, as for the thought this is petty. In my opinion it is not. this company in not so polite terminology are SCUM. they are the dredges of the penturning world. If even a few more suppliers behaved accordingly, Penturning would be seen more like a journey through a junk yard. A reputation that is not to far from where we have struggled up from in the last 6 or 7 years.
