There was some interest in having another New England meeting since
many couldn't attend in November. It would need to be early enough that
it shouldn't interfere with the holidays.

We were thinking of having an informal get-together in my shop on
December 12th (Saturday) in Claremont NH. (5 miles from exit 8, Rt 91)
Nothing fancy, only have a Jet mini and a 7x10 metal lathe.. the usual
saws, sanders, drill press and such. Casting if you want to. Plenty of
coffee, (someone bring the donuts) and parking is fine. The sign says so.
(Fine For Parking)

I might even be close enough for some of the northern NH or VT turners
to consider the trip. Hey .. even Canada isn't that far away.. it doesn't
have to be just New England. New York isn't all that far, either.

Bring your favorite chisel and eye gear.

Party at Charlies. If the trip to Woodcraft is too much, here is your chance to meet local turners. Usually there are free blanks at these meetings along with loads of advice on where to buy things, or where not to. Ask every question you ever had. Bring your pens to show off! And it it a Saturday. See you there.

Free blanks. Are you going to be digging into the burl stash you have?
I'll try to get there. Its only an hour and a half from here instead of 2 1/2 to Springfield. With out a radio its a long ride either way.

Charlie,
What time? I will try to get up there as I have said previously

Matt,
What are you driving? I replaced the radio in my f150 and have the stock one sitting if you want it

Time is pretty much open, as this isn't a formal meeting. I guess whatever time
the first person wants to get here.. I'll be there and open up.

I have a Honda CRV. I had a car starter put in and the battery was disconected. They make you put in a code for the radio to be opened. We have a Pilot also. I was given the pin over the phone and was given the wrong number at first and then given the right code for the pilot. 3 strikes and its locked the radio. I can get a code to have it unlocked to put in the right unlock code but it dont make since if you cant find the right code. I know I have it but its not were we thought we put it. I need to do some cleaning to try and find it. I may just replace all of it, speakers and all. I want a 6 disc in dash unit.
Thanks for the offer.
