Mike and I will be attending the show this weekend. Not sure which day or time at this point, depends on orders. What time are the CSUSA presentations?

[:X] Mrs.

Hey MLK if you happen to get there on Friday stop by the Montgomery County Woodworkers and IWCS booth. I will be attending the booth from 12 to 6.
Craft Supply will be doing them on Fri. at 12:30,1:45,3:00 and 5:45. Sat. at 11,12:30,1:45,3 and 4:35. On Sun. at 11, 12:15,1:45,3 and 4:35.
Hope to see you there.

We were there last year and that is how we found out about CSUSA. That was before we found IAP too. Not a bad show and you can get some pretty good deals there. Peachtree will be there and you can get some good buys on things like stress mats and sanding rolls for the preformax drum sanders. There are other great deals, but I would rather be in southern Texas and stop by Dario's than go to the show. That is a heck of a deal on a great lathe.

We where going to the show-----your weather forecast is just a tad bit on the nasty side for me.
Plus I would rather be at Dario's buying some wood and that Lathe----- We already have a Powermatic---the only thing better would be his and hers machines:D

Oh come on Gary it is going to be 15 degrees for a high Saturday with an overnight low of -2. You only have to park about three blocks from the building. The neighborhood is well it's er um Gary do you have a bullet proof vest?

Mike

I went to the Dallas show in December with the specific desire to buy a new table saw. I was excited to think that I could see the major manufacturers there with their table saws on display so I could study and purchase that day.

Boy, was I disappointed.

Jet, Dewalt and Delta didn't even show up. It was obvious that the majors decided to not attend. I went to the Dallas Woodcraft and found a Delta rep there doing a demo. He indicated that they had decided not to attend the Woodworking Show as the booth fee was extemely high when they purchased the number of booths they usually did, the attendance was low, and the Woodworking Shows staff didn't advertise the event very well.

I was also disappointed that CSUSA wasn't there.

I hope your show has better support. But if you're looking for a particular vendor, you may be well advised to check that they will be attending.
