At least this race has a little excitement.

BUT...Does anyone else think that the race is nowhere as important as it used to be since the CART / Indy split? It's almost like i'm sitting here watching this race trying to get ready for the real big race tinight. (and the Cavs/Pistons game)

Indy has lost a lot of it's excitment for me....But the BIG race was this morning.....[8D]

The Monaco Grand Prix was earlier today, it's the one race I look forward to all year, on average 50 plus gear changes per lap, 78 laps....and they turn right and left....[:D]

I watched that race as well. Problem I have with F-1 is that it's really hard to pass, so even if someone has a better car, unless they are up front they can't even come close to winning. Too easy to block.

I agree Mark,

Up until 4 years ago I had attended every F1 race in Montreal(Starting in 1976) except for the races from 81-86. In the last years I was going it got deathly boring, it was All Schumacher, All the time.

Passing in F1 is at a premium, not as common as the North American open wheeled series of racing...

I like the F1 road courses more than ovals...I have to say for me the two are very different....but like you I am a racing fan...although I can not watch NASCAR for some reason.....it just does not appeal to me.

I was really happy when Michael Schumacher retired, I like seeing a wider variety of dravers in the hunt...I would like it even more if we saw more Racing in an F1 race...I Love Monaco more I think for the place and it's history in F1.....Indy is a great place...but for some reason I do not think the Best Drivers out there are actually racing in the 500, a long way back to the 70's and 80's when the best were there all the time.

I used to love F1 racing, but they got away from the open wheel monocoque bodies, it all changed and I got disinterested. The drivers now are all arrogant jerks, completely unlike people like Jimmy Clark, Graham Hill, Sterling Moss, etc. It just isn't the same anymore.[:(]
