Just got back from the hospital. I was there sinse about 10 this morning. I had a rough night tossing a turning and pain with a cough. After chest xray and breathing treatment, I have a slight flu, bronchitis, and early pneumonia. I hit the trifecta with this one. Just wanted to keep everyone updated..

Hang in there Brian. I know about that painful cough stuff. I finally went to the doctor when we started getting worried that I might have broken a rib or something. turned out to be the pneumonia stuff. I will tell you that the medicine stopped the pain part very quickly. Rest and get well.
 
I've been hacking and hurtin' all week. I kinda know how you feel.
I came back from visiting my daughter and her husband last week. They'd both had
strep throat which I'm very susceptible to. No way we were going to cancel our vacation to go see them; we took our chances.
I hope you recover quickly.

Brian, I had the same crap, took two rounds of Augmentin and a week on a nebulizer to clear it up. it's this great weather I was lucky no flu just Bronchitis and pneumonia. Hope you get well soon.

Sounds like what I had. Went in with a cold on a Wednesday, ER on Friday and the breathing treatment and all the rest, as well as an EKG (shaved like a poodle)... Took 10 weeks after I was seen, doesn't count 1st week I just stayed in bed waiting for an appointment!

Take carre and hope you are well fast.
 
Hey Brian, hang in there and get well. BTW, I sent your PITH pen yesterday. Seeing that should scare that crud right out of you, lol. Does this mean that when I get your pen I should soak the box in alcohol before opening???
 
I have everything cut before I got sick. I am sending it out as soon as I turn another day or two.

Hey, no hurry. Take your time and get feeling better first. Then sterilize the pen before you send it, LOL. Got tunes in your ride yet??
 
Just an update.
I am awake watching scare tactics. Had shaking chills so I bundled up and took some Advil, chills went away,, and now im sweating. There is good news though!
I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!.. LOL
 
Sorry to hear that you are ill. Drink lots of fluids to keep your secretions thin and that will help you recover more quickly. If they stay thick it is easier for bacteria to grow and flourish in your lungs. Also steamy showers help to loosen it so you can cough it up. Walk as much as you can to help phlegm from the bottom of your lungs as it helps your body is clearing your lungs.
 
Sorry to hear that you are sick Brian. I am under the weather too. Starting getting flu-like symptoms yesterday and now I know that I have something. Hope the flu shot I had a few eeeks ago helps.
