I've decided to follow the brillant advice of our own Bruce Boone, who talked about finding your niche or speciality area for marketing your creations. So in light of my pens Lola[:X] and Blaze[:X], and my recent seam ripper, I've decided that my speciality area seems to naturally be making turnings for people in the adult entertainment business. [:p][:p] So I think I'll start targeting those buyers. If anyone knows of anyone in that line of business (and is willing to admit it), be sure to give them my name for any turning needs they might have! [}:)][}:)]

Actually Tom, I think UHMW plastic or Delrin might be better choices...nothing sticks to those!

Angela, the best way to make the contacts is to go into the biz yourself. That's why I became a lawyer...I wanted to be able to sell my pens to other lawyers.

Try selling your pens through Hooters? By the way, if done right, the same technique makes some really interesting goblets. Makes a unique bridal shower gift. Also causes less problems than giving high end sheets with a bottle of spot remover.

Actually if I were you, I would look into the yearly Vegas show that has all of the Adult Industry paticipants; I believe it is liked up with the electronics show. But, if you had a booth at that show you would have all of those contacts all in one place.[:D]

You all are bad, bad, bad (but also very funny!).

Jim, that's a great suggestion you made and really quite logical. But, especially since my dad is on here, I don't think that's a great idea- my parents would know where to look for me next. Plus, there's the concern about running into some of my clients. And finally, everyone here would now know where to look for me- I could have done it better if I hadn't shared my new business plan! I hope your venture doesn't go bust. It's something worth supporting.

Perhaps a painted on or tiny cloth bikini top on the pen for those souvie shops down in Florida. It looks like it would sell well.
