I'm back!!

I'm back from my detachment to Florida! I'll hopefully get to turn something in the next few days, but for now I'm catching up with my son and LOML. I fixed the boat today and took them out on the water for awhile, that was fun! I have to get back to work tomorrow, then I have no idea what my schedule is for the next week or more. I hope to God I'll be able to get some serious turning in! I haven't been away from my lathe this long since I bought it!

BTW, I thought the heat and humidity were bad here? Jax has a SOUL crushing humidity and heat. I felt like I had come to michigan when I came home, instead of Virginia, and it was over 90 when I got here!

No way, we were supporting the Truman. We still are, just from up in Norfolk. I'll be supporting that boat until the first part of August, when I might actually get a day off!!
