Hello everyone. Just wanted to let you know I am sorta back. Surgery went well, but recovery is less than desired. I had a stent placed under the aneurysm and coils placed into it. Doctor thinks it looks good and should heal well, closing the aneurysm off as the new artery wall forms.

Was only suppose to have a 1 day stay, but ended up with 2 days in ICU. The day I was going to be released I had fever start and couldn't understand what people where saying to me and I wasn't making sense to anyone. Home now, but problems are limited to light headed, headache and neck muscle spasms and a few other things.

On the bright side with the last surgery and this one my brain is now worth of 500,000 dollars. Wonder if anyone wants to buy it. Birthday is coming up on Friday and the wife is upset that we have no money for her to buy me a gift. I figure she bought me a few extra years and was right beside me through it all for a 2nd time so no other gift would compare. Well talk to you later. I go back to the Doctor in 2 weeks to see if I can go back to work or not.

Dustin; Take care and get well!

Your wife sounds like a "keeper"! Don't let her get away!

My three rules for a happy marriage:
1. Tell your spouse you love them at least once a day and mean it!
2. Kiss your spouse at least one more time than they kiss you!
3. Never pass your spouse without touching.

Remember, no-one said, "I wish I had spent more time in the office!"

Glad to hear you made it alright,Dustin.
You have been through a lot,so take it easy and
it's good to know you have a loving wife there beside you.

Great to hear the good news. Thanks for letting us know. We're still praying for you to recover completely and get back to normal. You've got an Oklahoma IAP Chapter get together to get ready for sometime next year.:) Hang in there your doing good.

That's the best news I've had all day. I've been thinking of you the last 2 weeks. Keep us informed and it sure sounds like your birthday gift is right next to you....

Glad to hear things went well...and, as others have said, you certainly have two great gifts...a sweet lady by your side and a new lease on life. All the best.

Glad to hear that all went well. Take your time and heal slowly and completely. I am sure that you must be exhausted from all of the anxiety. Your wife sounds like a keeper. Her love, her support and her tending are better then any gift she could buy you. Follow what Randyris said in his post, it really is the way to make sure that the people we love know it.
