This is right out of the mold. I haven't skinned or polished it yet.
I tried to capture the colors...green, teal, blue and purple. It's a chameleon blank and the colors shift while moving the blank.
I hope to tube and turn this before too long, but there are other things that
need done first.
There is a lucky person that will be getting one of these...

That's pretty slick, the idea of using chameleon materials will really make this blank pop. While in Germany a lot of car guys would do this type of paint on their cars called "Flip-Flop" and when the sun hit it the paint would jump out at people. Really amazing stuff. This will look amazing. Great job

This was done in a silicone mold.

My wife just made some nail polish using this stuff and... awesome!
Of coarse, I'm the test subject, but it comes off. I'll have her get a pic.

It looks just like it does on a car, just a slight movement and the color shifts.
There are four distinctive colors and the blends between them. Purple, blue, green, and teal are dominant.

I've cast some before using a different material, but the blank had to be flipped from end to end to see a big difference. This is the real deal and changes with little movement.

Here is the nail polish. This stuff is a little glittery to me, but I will be testing some more of a smaller particle size and get rid of the glittery effect, I hope. It also needs a topcoat to make it smooth and shiney.
This is good for nail polish though, so I'm told.

I'd love to comment on the pictures, but all I can see is that signature of yours!

(Kidding aside, my (probably ADD) brain does have trouble reading your posts because of that signature)

If it's getting your attention, then it's working.:wink:
Now I think I'm going to make it flash. JK!

Gee James, you have some aweful purdy toe-nails.

Thanks Mike. It's actually my pinky finger, but perhaps I should have had her do a toe. Maybe that would have eliminated the funny looks I've been getting.

Those are some wicked cool blanks.

Thanks Ken. I hope there are better ones to come.

I have turned my laptop upside down, on the side, back and forth and I don't see the colors change. I guess I don't have one of those new 3D models.:biggrin:
I like the colors tho'
Can't wait to see the pens.
