If anyone is coming up to the John C Campbell folk school this week, please stop by and say hello! I have the great privilege of assisting Don Russell in a tilt top table class this week. I have never assisted in a class before, only taken classes up there, and I am very excited to help instruct a class. If I can get an internet connection up there, I will post some "in progress" pictures of our projects.
We will be creating a tilt top, three legged table this week, with a veneered top. The class is going to be using mahogany for the veneer top, and solid wood for the legs, tilt block, and center post.
