I have been having the same problem since the site switched to the new one. Can't figure out what the problem is. It started the day the new forums came online so I can only attribute it to something other than my computer.

I have tried IE and Firefox. Seems I have better luck with firefox, but still hasn't solved the problem.

Dustin,

We have had a LOT of difficulties from the office (our internet connection). I also have firefox and IE, Dawn has now got both also.

Finally, we called our DSL provider (TDS). After a bunch of BS with a travelling tech, I made contact with the people in the "call in service" department. They said the travelling guy had tested it, and it was running according to speed, etc. I told them that I did not have fancy testing equipment, I used a slightly different test.

Of course they asked what that was. I said in my nicest, calm voice, "The god-blessed internet does NOT come up on my computer fast enough ---- it has been better in the past and I suspect I can make it better within the next week, on my own. Again, he asked was I going to "tune up" my connection. I replied, Yes, in a way, I am going to find a carrier to REPLACE YOU and measure their success by whether I am getting the RESULTS that I want, not by the results of some test that I, your customer, could care LESS about.

He asked me to hold off for a week. By gosh, our internet has gotten downright tolerable in that week.

MIRACULOUS!!!!

FWIW
