Hi Cody, actually, I had little experience before joining IAP with taking pictures, and my photography skills are barely acceptable. However, your pen was a real challenge! I try very hard to do as little editing as I do not want to mis-represent what the pen looks like "In-Hand." But your blank has awesome subtle colors that need a bright day to bring out the shades. Yes, I did use some Home Depot lighting, but I took pics on three different days, and liked the ones where there was a lot of natural lighting.

And the real cool element to your pen is the silver clay (IMO), and that was no issue (except for the slightly fuzzy back side of the pic :redface.
