I have no idea.

Lyle will be the one to decide on that...but I am sure he will do a great job splitting/distributing the blanks. [^]

I'm leaning heavily towards a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place drawing, with 1st getting 50 blanks, 2nd getting 30 blanks, and 3 getting 20 blanks (assuming we hit the 100 blank mark, which it looks like we will....).
There's several different approaches I'm considering for how to divvy them up into the three groups- I'll put more detail out tonight, but would welcome suggestions from the participants as well.

<br />Dario - any word on how the blanks will be split - 1 group, 2 groups, 3 groups?? Some GORGEOUS wood in there!!!

In the interest of making it fairly simple on your end for dividing up blanks I would suggest making 4 packs of 25 blanks each; 1st name drawn picks first, 2nd name picks 2nd, 3rd picks 3rd and 1st place gets the "extra" bag.

By dividing first, you make sure that all winners get a good selection/crosssection of the wood, first drawn still gets their favorites (at least some of them) and the most blanks but doesn't clean out all of the bog oak or other "high end" blanks. 2nd and 3rd still get primo blanks....

Just a suggestion...

Dario-

not a proposal, just a suggestion! If you make proposals you wind up with a wife, kid, mortgage....that's dangerous!

good suggestion- we'll roll forward with that approach.
