WOW what a great day, I went for a 20 minute walk with out too much hurting, My baby and I went out in the woods, and played stick, throwing was a bit hard, but it sure felt good to get out and move around, I think I might try a 5K,(next year), Mommy said I have to rest, then if I'm a good boy (fat chance) I can try again tomorrow, I've been trying out my directors chair for turning, it's a little scary, but just turning between centers I don't have to move much, the worst part is rounding the blank. Trying to make some pens for Wolftat, out of Corian it isn't that bad to work with except cutting it on my El Cheapo 9 in. band saw with an even cheaper Vermont blade, but it sure polishes up great with Novus, after wet sanding to 600.

Just be careful with your fingers on that bandsaw

After last summer you better believe I'm careful:eek: even with a POC like it, I wish I had some corian blades for my scroll saw, hold on a tic! I have some pretty coarse jewelers saw blades that might work, and I can do it sittin down, all I have to do is wait till wifey gets home to find them for me. Turns out my exercise wore me out, Geez what a wuss! my pooch wants to go again, it's hard to explain it to her.:dog:

I cut some of Neil's corian on my scroll saw with a regular #9 skip tooth blade. No problems at all.

I have Flying Dutchman ultra reverse 1-5-and 7s I think I'll try the 7s and see what happens, I don't know if Lowes carries any scroll saw blades that would work or not. If they do maybe I can get the wife person to drive me to the store and maybe celebrate my great adventure.

Ken,

Sounds like your next GREAT adventure should be a short nap!!!

THEN you can move on to sawing again.

Take care, progress ,,,,,,,, not regress!!!

(from the ol fuddy-duddy!)

Ed took a nap right after lunch, woke up getting my face washed by this long nosed beast, No not my wife! she's at work, my baby girl, all 85 pounds of her with her milk bone breath, I guess my daughter let her in and opened my bedroom door, Very Funny Ha Ha Ha.

Take your "milk-bone breath cleaned face" over and give your daughter a BIG CLOSE hug. Make sure she can get the full aroma of the milk-bone.

Lovingly send a message!!
