I think that Kansas is in the upper most northern part of Texas; right on the Texas-Oklahoma border.

Yeppers.. you are 356 miles away from me.... Now if you would move to the EAST side of Kansas, you would have all us SW Missouri turners to deal with...

Now, if moving is out of the question ... then during the tornado season... ya just might get a visit from my son and I cause we are storm chasers. Depending on the weather patterns... you just might be in the smack dab middle of where we want to be....

I'll bring some blanks, kits and turning tools just in case...

My Drill SGT in the Army was from Tulsa, he explained to us that Kansas was actually a suburb of Oklahoma.

Give it up Michael, I moved all the way to Nevada to find company. Didn't help. That is the price we pay to have been in the real Heart of the country. Nobody ever thinks they are good enough for us after having been in Kansas.
