I came on this forum to pass a message along about my father so I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Tony and I am Neil (Wolftat)'s son and am an active duty Marine. I just returned from an extended tour in Afghanistan and Iraq. I will be in town until I know my father is okay. I have been turning pens and other items since I could hold a skew. When I joined the Corps ten years ago, a pen that had 2 pieces segmented together was a big deal, now I am looking around and seeing some beautiful work that has me working overtime to figure out. Please excuse any improper behavior out of me as I am learning the proper ediquette for a forum such as this one and am sometime a bit forward in my way of thinking and speaking but that is how I am in life.

For those that do not know what is happening with Neil, he had a heart attack last Thursday night after pulling a couple out of an overturned car that went off the road. He is still in the hospital but should be released soon before he drives them all crazy. I am trying to keep his condition updated in the local forum.

Tony, thanks again for giving us the news and updates about your dad. Hope you'll join us as time permits to discuss something more fun than critical health issues.

An overturned car? I had a feeling it didn't happen while he was sitting in front of the TV. For some reason, I don't think of your dad as going at much less than full throttle most of the time.

Thanks for the information and welcome. Stick around. I've learned a thing or two from your dad and I'm sure I can learn a thing or two from you as well...

Thanks for the warm welcome, just an update on Neil. The grouch is back home making everyone miserable again and I am at his shop making pens with his favorite blanks and kits.

To reorganize something would refer to it being organized to start with. I will say that making his segmented pens are a lot easier now that I am looking at a bench full of partially finished ones.
