I took my older brother to see Larry the Cable Guy live at the Paramount in Seattle last night. I have never seen so many diesel pickups in downtown Seattle! What do ya'll think I drove? My truck of course. As a dirt farmer at heart, I always liked red necked humor but it was great to spend a couple of hours listening to someone who could make you laugh without dropping F bombs in every sentence. For the most part pretty clean language. To my suprise, quite of fair amount of ladies there as well. Two young women were sitting next to me and left their hubbies at home! My brother and I usually don't do much together. We both had a great time.

Larry is pretty humble and still just a good ole red neck except he can afford more beer than I can. (He can probably drink more too!) He was great in the Blue Collar comedy tour stuff too.

Although I have not seen Larry live I had heard from many people that his shows are very funny and with no foul language. From the stuff I have heard on TV I would say that is true. Another great one in that category is Sinbad. I met him backstage a few years ago in Vegas as I was visiting an old friend that worked there. He was just as funny backstage in person as he was on stage, where he could bring tears to your eyes. I wish we had more comedy in today's world like Larry and Sinbad present.

Wife and I saw him with my daughter and husband last year in downtown Columbus. Put me in such a good mood I found things to laugh at all the way home!!!
