I need a PDA/pocket pc , can some one recommended

I need a pda or pocket pc that can open and view word or excell files. or even open office type files.

looking on ebay fo a used one, just need to know what i need to look for.
doesn't need to phone or internet capable.

Any PDA that runs Windows Mobile will handle the files easily. Not as familiar with the Palms but I know that a lot of them will now handle Office files also. I used to have a Compaq IPAQ and my wife currently uses one and they work really well.

Newer Palms handle them, older Palms need a helper application, like "Docs To Go"

or if you want the Treo 700 phone works great for what you are asking for. just a relativly small screen. I have had mine for about 3 months and it works great. and I have had to open most files with it. And it uses Windows Mobile. Not a bad system.

But.... its up to you if you need phone etc on it as well.
