Well, I just posted how much IAP is a support to us all, and now, I'd like to ask for a little help. I just canceled a trip short today with the news of a unexpected and tragic death of a very close family member. Now, I'm not one to go into detail, but I would really appreciate your thoughts, and prayers for those that do that. I have family flying in from all over in the next few days and it will be quite a difficult week for us all. Thank you so much in advance. I'm so overwelmed right now, I feel like just spending some quiet time at the lathe and piano (not at the same time).

Johnathon, I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. I don't know about you but during times of stress I really do turn to turning since I seem to get lost in it and the rest of the world seems to disappear even if its only for a short time. Hang in there.

Johnathon - You and your family are in our prayers. There is nothing quite as difficult as losing someone you love. Keep your chin up when possible and keep the faith.

I still owe you a review. I can say I am having trouble finding anything but positives, but will give you more details later.

God bless you.

Johnathan,

Your family will be in our prayers. While I personally like praying for people by their name...your wish to keep details off will be respected and understood. I know HE will know who I am praying for.

Time, friends and family will all help take the pain away.

Johnathan,
Prayers going up from Delaware. Do what calms you. Join with us in prayer. BTW, according to Cruden's Concordance, in Hebrew, your name means "Given of God". I guess that explains all of your many talents. I just thought I'd look it up.

Prayers here also. Don't play the piano but I can tell you that I feel closer to God when I am in my shop than about anywhere else. Don't really know why, but I spend a lot of time just talking with Him while turning. If I am really worried about something or someone I always head to the shop, I hope yuu get the same peace out there.

Jonathan, our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours throughout this very trying time. A little quiet meditation in the shop works well for me at times like this. May your lathe and piano serve you as well.
