Horse twist pen from Pen State. First one ever, and like normally I do, I practice changing the refill in case I'm asked. Well, I took the refill out just fine
but when I put it back in, I "pushed" it on like I'm so used to doing, instead of screwing it back on.

So, is it now screwed up or can I knock that transmission out and not damage it, or is it too late and just use the parts for... parts?

A 3/32" transfer punch will fit in the hole of the transmission. You can tap out the cap.

I venture a guess the threads on the transmission and the tube of the front end assembly are stripped and you'll need to replace both.

I need to start thinking some of these things through longer. I have a complete pen punch set, will attempt that tomorrow.
Thank you.
