I Had a Great Saturday!

I had the distinct pleasure yesterday of meeting Len Shreck, one of our new members, at the Grizzly store. Unfortunately, his wife limited how much of his money I could push him to spend! :biggrin:

We had a great time at Grizzly, and then enjoyed a cheese steak at one of my favorite places. I brought him a few things to help him get started, and he more than reciprocated by giving me three awesome cherry bowl blanks! Thanks, Len!!

So, I now have a standing offer: Come to the Grizzly store in Muncy PA, and I will help you spend your money and buy you a cheese steak. All I ask in return is a few killer bowl blanks!! :wink:

The great news is that Len has the good taste to find a woman for his life who will go to a machinery store -- and she encourages him to indulge (though in moderation). Several on the list will probably wonder if she has a sister.

Popular Woodworking gave a rave review for the Grizzley 17 inch bandsaw - hope that made it through the screening process.

Nope, I need GUMBO for that trip, and I do have some bowl blanks! I can get a dang cheese steak most anywhere!
