I just wanted to brag a little bit and let everyone know that I got my pressure pots today and as soon as I hook up my fittings I will be try my hand at PR casting

Also wanted to let people know that they can picked them up this weekend at Harbor Freight Gigantic Parking Lot Sale for $59.00 plus 15% off coupon

Great info, hope it works out. The website for the sale doesn't list the paint pot, and the regular website doesn't show it on sale. :(

was that a typo? you got plural? CONGRATS! have fun, and enjoy the smell, i know my wife does!
 
I've not had much time at all in the workshop since Connor was born in Feb., and we're getting ready to move, so that's another month lost before the workshop might be in some semblance of usability, but this thread really was nagging at me. Thanks, Ron, I drove out this morning and bought two, myself. $50 with coupon! Now I just have to find time to assemble the pot for casting, buy stuff with which to cast, learn how to cast, etc., etc., etc.... :)

The same thing happened when I bought the vaccuum pump. Paid the $89 and took back the print-out the next day for the sale at $79....got the difference back......no problem. They didn't have it listed as being on sale either.

SCORE 1 for me......now I have a good source for pulling a vaccuum instead of using the other one I bought (cann't find it right now....black hole swallowed it up!!!) that has to be taken apart to get to the part that's needed.

I live way up in NH like Charlie, long trip to the nearest HF, so I ordered one on line. Its been back ordered for 2 month. Saw the new 5 Gal model a couple weeks age so I ordered that one. Have not received that either. Irritates me a little that they have them in stock at the stores and you cant get them on line.

I saw the sale was happening and a friend gave me a coupon :), so I also scored the pressure pot for $59 and 15% off. Now comes the fun of finding a combo vacuum / pressure gauge.
 
Just an update I got my HF flyer in the mail yesterday and it look like the pots will be on sale again for $59.00 on the 4th of July not sure if there will be any kind of coupons available
