Congrats Chris!

Do you know that you are also now on the top 2% of the membership forum contributors (roughly 86th of 4,201 members)?

My true goal is to catch up to you Dario. I figure if I quit my job and spend all day posting, I'll catch up to you by the time I'm ready to collect Social Security.[:p] Not that I expect that Social Security will be around then.

<br />There you go again Dario. If you reply to each of my posts, I'll never catch up. Maybe I can get your account frozen for a year.[:D]

Tell you what...if you want, we can keep this going. You won't catch up with me but you will pass a few others in the process. LOL [:D]

I understand there's a Spam cook off that's a real hoot. I know some folks who have been and they said the variety of things made from it were quite tasty. Personally, I can't stand the "stuff" (feel free to substitute the word of your choice[;)]).

And I understand that the Hawaiians have a regular festival for the "stuff"..[:D]

My understanding is that it is the Japanese, whom there are many of in Hawaii, that are wild about the stuff. I personally avoid all Hormel products.

Carrying on this hijacked thread:
"(Japanese) Wild about SPAM" - Not so in the land of WA. These kind of stories come about because of a TV or news reporter finding a group to report on, then another news agency takes up that news and pass it along. There might be a few "SPAM" clubs, but the vast majority of Japanese either don't know what it is or rarely ever buy it. It is in a few stores but not everywhere. It is not a sensation that some report it to be. Just take the Japanese SPAM reports with a grain of salt! [:D][;)]

And Oh Yes: CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a 5 Star General. This means we expect MORE out of you now! [:D]

The SPAM capital of the world is GUAM, USA. They consume the most of that stuff per capita. At least this is true when I was there about 10 years ago, not sure if they still hold that title now. [;)]

*looks at his star, then at his post count, then at Kent's new star, and then Kent's post count...slowly makes the correlation and sighs deeply*

I think I need to find some good spam pictures. Gah.

I think having five stars really makes you one of the elite!! At least that's what I'm telling myself... It's like hanging out with the big dogs!!! (No, Ed, I'm not calling any of you dogs...[:D][:D])
