I could use some help/advice

I picked up some pen display boxes for a really good price. I am going to place them in some shops and I would like to put a lock on them. Something very small that helps basically honest people stay honest. Here are some pictures of my case(s)

Without seeing the box more I have only one idea. You could drill a small hole down through the center of the front and insert a thin brass threaded rod that would screw into a hex nut embedded in the bottom.

Not truly a lock but more of a deterent.

If these are going to display in stores, will people have to unlock the drawer to see the pens inside? I don't think this type of box is a good one for unattended displays such as stores. Only my opinion.

I got these in a store in Va Beach, VA, called Ollie's. I was only there the one time and they had an "original" price of $70. The price Ollie's had them down to was $27.99 and I got 40% off that. I bought a suitcase to carry the five I bought, home.
I have also purchased one from PSI. This one is very nice, maybe nicer than the ones I purchased from Ollie's.

I'm not sure a lock will do you much good. A thief would be more likely to take the box and all.

Yeah, I know. I've thought of that and if that happens, that person needs them a lot worse than I do, or the store owner. My thought was that good people sometimes get hit by strange impulses they often regret later. My thoughts were that an ornamental lock would help them resist that impulse until the shop owner can assist them. All three places I'm thinking of putting them are small to very small places.
