...it is "PECAN", from Oregon. I purchased some blanks through a member here on IAP. I am sorry but I cannot remember from whom. I tried this type of segmenting a while back with poor results. Perserverance and patience paid off this time. I think this new approach will reward me handsomely. Even with more detailed and intricate segments, this approach will work! C~N~C welcomed. Mike you've done some segmenting...you should be able to figure it out easy.

looks to me like a flat cut parallel to the axis of the tube. sandwich in the aluminum and glue back together.
