Not just any Oneway chuck but a Stronghold at that.

Jared, note that Stronghold is used to turn 16" and bigger bowls and platters so it is pretty big. You will need the proper insert for your lathe as well.

IF you have a small lathe...might as well buy a big lathe. :biggrin:

Guess he has a Oneway chuck - the jaw set he pointed out is for this one. The Oneway chuck is much lighter that the Stronghold. I rarely drill at the lathe, but when I do so, I use the smallest jaws for my chuck.

I have a Jet 1014 and I have a Jacobs drill chuck with a #2MT. The tailstock and headstock are #2MT. I have the Oneway chuck with the original jaws and now the smaller ones.
