I AM still around... here's my latest "thing"

Hi all,


I am still around, and despite my lack of posting I do still make pens. LOL I just haven't turned anything at all in a while. Well that's not completely true, I've turned a certain four wheels quite a lot lately. Here is my latest "accomplishment" shall we say. After a long, depressing span of 5 years not owning my own car (for the first time in my life) I adopted Bella. Pictures here:

It has been a very, very long wait - especially for me, an admitted car chick. But the wait is finally over - let the mods begin!

So I apologize for not being around much. Naturally I'll need to increase pen sales to pay for things like window tinting, a short shifter kit, maybe a rear wing - you know, girlie things like that. [)] hee hee

lol...nope. Before I took a stab at making the knob, I needed to learn how to turn. I started by making something "simple" - a slimline. That was about 2.5 years ago, and now the car is gone (1991 British Racing Green Miata, which wasn't very practical with a pregnant wife, or now with a 15 month old baby!). I never did make the knob or the handle - I got hooked on making pens!

180 hp in a relatively light little package; she almost turns herself inside out if I do a launch off the line. [8D] It's a very fun little car. []
