After not being able to use my shop for the past 2 month due to a bum shoulder and housing a Feral Female Cat and her kittens, I am ready to start turning again. Had momma cat spayed and given shots and released her. Put a pet door in shop so she could come and go as she wished. Babies are going to SPCA this morning execpt for 1 which Grandaughter is keeping here. Put the A/C back in the window and the heater back up in the loft, closed it off to keep cool air down in shop. Cleand up and rearranged the shop, it seems my 10X12 shop is a constant work in progress. Have some blanks from Ed and PR Princess and the kits from the latest CSUSA Group buy, have the lathe set up for drilling and mandrelless turning, so should be good to go. Suppose to be near a 100F today and over that tomorrow. One thing about being laid up is I kept buying kits and blanks so I have plenty to do on the hot afternoons and evenings that are comming.

100°F - I don't envy you! It has been unusually cool in the No. MS area - while I was there from mid April to mid May. Got back to Japan two days ago and nothing but cool rain here too. I haven't felt an 80° outside temp this year (Japan or US).

Glad you are getting back to turning pens. I sent a few to your area a few weeks ago - My aunt lives in Sac and sister/BIL lives in Folsom.
