I am back for a bit.

Thank you ED for posting for me as to way I have not been on the forum.
Been to the doctors today. Right now no surgery is planned. I have a stress fracture at the ball of the knee. So I have another six weeks in a brace and cane. I will be on the site when the knee allows me since my office is on the third floor of the house.
I go the ok to work in the shop for short periods of time. This year has not been kind to my body. My be the second half will be better.

Always good to hear from you Alan. Maybe you can get your doctor to write a prescription for that new sit down OneWay lathe. On the other hand I doubt if the IRS would allow it as an allowable medical deduction.

I had you on my mind today and was considering calling to see how the knee is doing. Glad to hear that no surgery is planned as, take my word for it, stairs are NOT your friend after knee surgery!! [8D]
