I am in the process of building a new web site and have very little experience with html editors but know my way around the computer pretty well. What would some of you suggest as the best/easiest to build a site with? Thanks.

I am not a web guru, but I have started building my site. I originally went with GoDaddy and tried their WebSite Tonight package. I did not like that at all and found the whole process cumbersome. Then, based on some suggestions here and trading e-mails, I decided to go with a Zen Cart based site. I really like how most everything is set up and all you need to do is edit the php files and add pictures and text. I am still developing, but it is coming along nicely and is becomming more personalized each day. I also have Front Page (now called Expression or something or other) that I create text with whatever fonts with and colors, and then I insert the HTML that gets created into the php files. Seems to be working really nice so far.

GoLive (Adobe)
Dreamweaver (Adobe)
FrontPage (Mircosoft)
NVU http://www.nvu.com (free)
WebGenerator http://www.ornj.net/webalbum/ (free)

Even MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and WordPerfect will generate HTML code

I like using SmartFTP (free) http://www.smartftp.com/ to upload to my site.
