I'm from Poland, male, about 50 y.o. I've never done any pen, but I'd like to give a shot. I'm familiar with lathe (but with metal working, not wood), I love tinkering and working with various kind of materials. I'm chemist, so sometimes I mix and match different stuff. I collected materials and tools to build pens - now it's time to try it. I like idea of pen turning. It's relatively easy way to make very personalized gift - and you don't need to be visual artist to do it. Here is the best site in internet to learn, so - I am.
