Greetings from Nebraska and welcome to the IAP community. As I have often said, I envy all of the amazing timbers you have in Australia and New Zealand that we rarely have access to in the USA. One of my very favorites is Hairy Oak especially when it is diagonal or cross cut like the one in this linked post by Casey Giddins (CjG78).
