Hello everyone,

I have recently been bitten by the pen turning bug and I cannot seem to make the itching stop!! It all started with a pen class I took out here at my base wood hobby shop. I have made a handful of pens and am getting ready to tackle my first acrylic pen here in the next couple of days. Welcome Randy. Been a long time since I was in Iwakuni. If you get the chance, get away from the base and see the country.

Unfortunately, this is my second tour here. I left in 2009 for a 3 year tour in Yuma, Az and was sent right back here. But thanks for the advise. We are hoping to see a little more this go around now that the kids are a little older.

Thanks for the hospitality everyone! I will put up some pictures tomorrow to show some of the stuff that I have done and some that I am currently working on. Looking at the pictures on here, I have a long way to go!
