Been wanting to make sawdust for some time now. I am set-up to start turning pens with a drill press. I have everything ready to go except for a jig to hold the blanks in place for drilling. Hope to learn some homemade ways to accomplish this without having to fork over $50 for a pretty one.

BTW, does anyone sell pre-drilled blanks?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Look forward to being part of this group.

Hey welcome and I'm in Gilbert if you ever need anything. I'm posting a video tonight as part of my first series I'm doing were I show the shopmade jig I use for drilling.

Welcome aboard!!!

Get yourself an MT-# drill for your lathe tailstock(cheapest way I know)....and use your lathe to drill.
Or, what size pre-drilled are you looking for?
