I would like to donate to help Ukraine. There are so many options available that I am overwhelmed. Does anyone have experience and have recommendations for good ways to do so?

Most every city here has taken in refugees and they get a lot of community support helping them to make a new life. They also know of or are active in collecting donations, clothing, medical supplies, cash, etc to send back. Go to some and talk to them about their needs and if you like what you see and hear donate.

On a different forum someone set up a small fund raiser for a Florida hurricane victim charity. Sponsors donated things. I donated a Wild Card Pen. We picked a number from 1-26 ( this was based on the daily number). Each number cost $15. I'm not an organizer and have no idea how to set up a fundraiser... maybe we can pass the hat here. I would contribute. If raffles are permitted here and someone wants to the lead that would be great. The proceeds can go to any legit charity. Just a thought

Doctor's Without Borders is an excellent charity, in my opinion. I also like the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Unicef, and the Red Cross.
