How Red Can We Go?

I had a higher up at work see the highly figured maple pens I was making and requested a red one. I was able to deliver a stunner of flamed maple stained red with a CA and polish finish with a classy Sierra silent click kit. It came out great.

I had TransTint I got from Woodcraft left over from an electric guitar build I did. Clicks I find are more practical than twists. I recommend them to clients unless they specifically say otherwise.

Nice looking pen. I have gotten good results with light wood as maple and coloring with Sharpies.
