How long does it take....

to cut 15 pieces of 4"x4" Corian into segments for Herringbone pens?

About 6 hours!!! And I didn't even hurt myself after working for that long around a spinning blade!! :biggrin:

So how many pieces do you think those 15 made? I got about 80 segments from each piece!! Grand total of 1200 segments.

Now I need to get busy and make some blanks!! Hopefully these segments will last me some time.

I don't want another marathon cutting session for a while.

If you have time, go to http://lumberjocks.com and look for Darryl Masterson's exquisite wine bottle stoppers.
Talk about thousands of segmented pieces.
He's posted rougly 40 segmented stoppers with more than 200 pieces per stopper.
