how does OO stable?

Without really testing I have always though that Osage Orange a/k/a OO would not be a good wood to stabilize with acrylic (as opposed to CJ).
No excuse here. I have quite a bit of OO and like to work with it. For sure, I'm going to test now.
But, others experience with OO and stabilizing would be appreciated.

I have stabilized lots of Osage with good results. I don't have the weight gain % for Osage, but I know that it cures up. Here is an example of a finished bangle with Osage. Its the one on the right;
