Hi, i just started casting PR. The women in my life love hot pink. I have been trying to get hot pink that is not to transparent. With no luck. I have been using Pearl white powder with pink and red liquid dye. I need help! Before I go broke. Thanks for reading my post and any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know about west valley, (beside i use to live there.) but our Woodcraft here in Boise Idaho sells Pearl-Ex powders. and the flamingo pink i think would just fit the color bill. call your Woodcraft in, I think South Jordon or is it Sandy Utah. they might carry pearl -ex powders

Our Michaels sales the pearl ex in it. There's about 12 little containers in it and one of them is the Flamingo pink. That's as close as I've came to a hot pink. I've also been trying to mix colors as well, but all I get is a Pepto Bismol look!

I have mixed pink using a bright red oil paint and white oil pain mix, the more white you add the softer the pink. I also add white mica powder to give it some glimmer. I usually start with about an 1" of red and then add the white 1/8" at a time to get the right pink then mix in the pr and cast. This formula is for 1 blank.

Just curious, but if transparency is the issue, would reverse painting in white or even hot pink help? Im just looking into reverse painting and not sure of the different effects you can get yet.
