Okay - I am definitely hooked on casting. Where is the cheapest place to get the stuff? From what I have been reading it is a lot cheaper to buy the stuff by the gallon, but where?

i am selling a kit with amber pr resin

us composites is the cheapest place to get clear silmar41 which runs about $60 shipped from FL

if you dont need a kit and you have a ocean city big lot near you in new england some have the amber resin in a gallon for a very good price an awesome buy if there is one close and they have stock

Oh it is a drug, you dont know your hooked till you are selling blanks to feed the habit!!!! You find yourself sneaking to the shop in the middle of the night to rumage through to discard bin just to try and find something to sell so you can get some more of that similar41 you so desperatly need!!!!.
 
You'll find yourself sitting there sometimes alone...... Waiting..... Getting ansy....... Contstantly looking at the clock...... Fidgeting......... Waiting.....waiting for it to start to gel.

But you never can wait for that perfect SWIRL.....

I got my order from Exotic Monday evening, and it had the freebie blank in it... I had a Dr. Appt this am, so I didn't have to rush out the door to get to work... so guess where I wound up?

Yep. In the shop, cutting and prepping the blank... :rolleyes:

and then... since I can't wait for the next fix, I ordered some Rhino blanks from Ed too...

Yea SCROLL3R is a enabler pushing that acrylic right into your veins....next youll be craving the US Composites 24 hr order line. You start off small with Casting craft and tupperware molds and move to used molds and 1 gallon cans of similar 41. Next its Having PTown or Newlondon on speed dial so you can get molds fast and buying 5gal at a time,after that Coastal scents calls you when a new color arrives!!!! Yes you have been bitten and the effects are starting to show!!!!
 
You need to look at Wood-N-Whimsies,,,not only do they sell their resin at rock bottom prices,, they also carry a full line of pearl ex and achohol inks to color it,,,the resin Tim&Tracy sells (silmar41) is fresh and you just can't beat dealing with them.
 
I couldn't wait for my order - I had to go to Michaels and get another quart - but I do have a gallon on the way! Yes, it is an addiction.
