My son-in-law gave me a piece of honey locust he had cut on his property a year or so ago.
It has been kicking around the shop ever since then, and I decided to see how it would turn.
For reference, it is about 10 inches across. About 1/2-inch wall thickness. Sanded to 320 grit. Sealed with wipe-on poly that was getting thick. Not cured yet (the poly) - I may buff it when it has had a chance to cure for a week or so.
