Well I have been stuck here for just about 6 years on the button. and I have to say the same thing about the contributions, They are far to many to count, in fact I know that many comments made here are teaching me even when I do not realize it. It would be interesting to see the difference in how well prepared I am when I go to the shop if I did not have the influence of this group.
Even better than the advice I receive here. I appreciated the supreme example of humanity this group exhibits. Truly the spirit of Christmas is practiced here every day.
Thank you all for creating my home away from home. I was up at 4 o'clock this morning and the first thing I did was check in with all my friends here. Soon I will be off to spend the day with my family and will not have much time to spend with all of you. Many of you will be in my thoughts over the next couple of days, all of you will be in my heart. My love to you all and wishing you a Very Merry Christmas.

John, I see you are a fellow Louisiana boy. I was born in Shreveport and now live in the Baton Rouge area. Still have relatives in Shreveport that I go see whenever possible. It's always good to see local members on the site.

I also want to give everyone my thanks! I have also been here for over a year, and this is not only an amazing resource for everything penturning, but it also houses some of the best people on earth! I'm glad John started this topic, and not just so I can give my old friend Daniel a hard time. I really am grateful for everyone here! We share a number of common bonds, not the least of which is our humanity. Merry Christmas to everyone!
