I have been lurking for a while and figured I would join. I'm south east of Dallas in Kemp. I noticed there is a North TX chapter. When is the next meeting? I have been turning for almost a year. Mainly pens and razors. I am looking at stating to cast my own blanks. Off to the library i go to read.

There is plenty of info in the library on casting. Good luck and be sure to ask if you need questions answered.

Just keep checking the N Tex Chpt forum for any info on the next meeting. I was unable to attend the meeting in June so I don;t know what was decided, if anything.

I would add my welcome from Arlington, TX. I hope you enjoy this group of great folks as much as I have. I have learned so much from them.
