New member here, just got approved. Stumbled on this site looking for tool rests by Rick Herrell (still have to find them). I've been turning pens maybe 6 years although not a great number. I prefer to use woods gathered in Southeast Arizona where I live. Don't cast blanks, if I do acrylics they're purchased. Really like to see others work, and looking forward to learning from you all.

I like Ironwood too, it machines beautifully. I didn't apply any finish to this pen other than a coat of Renaissance wax after polishing to 12,000.
