Like most Arts and Crafts I do, my blank making started because, I never buy something I can figure out how to make. So when my boyfriend started turning pens I started researching and making resin blanks. panamag8tor (a member here) has posted several pictures of pens made out of my blanks. I started making vertical blanks in pvc and resin blocks. I got one of P-towns tube-in molds and love tube in casting. Lets face it if you are lacking a y chromosome you can never have too many glitter pens, lol. I do make snakeskin blanks as well. I look forward to picking everyone's brains as well as sharing any new ideas with everyone.
